I am using this with a shop vac primarily for the use of picking up dog hair as I work in a clinic. All I really needed was something that would move easily on our rubber floor which is amazing for the dogs but terrible as far as cleanup unless you have the proper tools. You can't even sweep a rubber floor, the hair just balls up and sticks to the floor. The original shop vac attachment is the WORST and suctions perfectly to the floor creating the conditions to pull the multiple extensions or the attachment itself off of the vacuum which is infuriating. This attachment, however, works BEAUTIFULLY on the rubber flooring, our tile flooring and the indoor/outdoor rug in our waiting area. This attachment allows you to vacuum like an upright, you know forwards AND backwards!!! I read the reviews saying that the hair gets caught in the roller and eventually stops working, honestly if this were to happen I would still be so thankful for this thing because even if you take the roller out the attachment it still has wheels which are essential in my situation. I've been cleaning it out after each use which takes only a minute and it's amazing so far. LOVE THIS THING!!
