Easy enough to install..Fair price..Correct part numberWas the right part for reasonable priceSo far so good. No problems. OEM part. Some aftermarket parts are fine...but I decided to go with a Hoover belt because of wear and durability. Cost was reasonable.These belts are lasting long and so far so good.ORIGINAL REVIEW (2 STARS): I triple checked the part number, I definitely ordered the correct belt. I was able to vacuum 1/4 of a room before the belt snapped. It arrived without tips or instructions, so perhaps I was supposed to stretch it out, or heat it up, or wait 30 minutes before going back in the pool? Did I put it into the vacuum cleaner properly? Yes, it's not overly complicated to slide a loop around the brush and the little rod that sticks out from the motor. I also cleaned the brush and all of the hoses/ducts before using the vacuum with the new belt installed. I'm thinking perhaps it needs to sit stretched out a bit for a couple days so the tension isn't as high when operating it. I'm not sure. I'll order another one and report back.UPDATE: (FOUR STARS) I got another belt and used it to vacuum the whole house without issue. I've only used it twice so far, so I'm not sure how long it will last, but this time I let it sit at room temperature for a while, and stretched it out a few times with my arms before installing it. It is a genuine hoover part. Not sure what the issue with the first item was, but the second one was fine.Now if we're talking about vacuum cleaner belts, that's a different story. After my belt started slipping (had a difficult time determining this) I decided it was time for a replacement. In the meantime, I just tried to turn the original belt inside-out to get a couple more days out of the vacuum. This worked with some limited success, but by the second time I used the vacuum, I could smell burning rubber (not the kind that comes from my 1970 Camaro). Belt came quickly and was tighter than I expected. Some effort got the belt installed and the vacuum works like new. Old belt lasted about two years. This was a genuine Hoover belt (as described). Product is highly recommended.Works just fine. Nothing specialThis belt works perfectly, as long as it's installed with the proper side out--which happens to be the opposite of the side that's marked "This side out"! Installation was easy, but the belt kept slipping off after short periods of use--three times in all. Finally, in an effort to avoid doing the same thing and expecting a different result, I installed the belt inside out--and it's worked fine now for a couple of months.
