This 20-tablet bag will make 10 Gallons of Steam Carpet Cleaner (1 tablet per 1/2 gallon of water) Tips: 1. Vacuum entire carpet. 2. Add warm tap water to your machine, following steam cleaner manufacturer instructions. 3. Add one tablet for each 1/2 gallon of water in your machine. Many leading home machines specify 1 gallon of water, but some rental machines require 2, 3 or even more gallons of water. 4. Wait for the tablet(s) to dissolve and start cleaning following manufacturer recommendations.

I forgot to take before and after pics, but it works really well, you may need to do 2 or 3 passes for stubborn areas but this stuff is like magic. It has no scent which I love and I love knowing it is and safe for my kitties to walk on the carpet after cleaning!
